This activity will be organized in Hanoi from 10 to 15 December 2018 (Monday - Saturday) by
o Institute of physics (IOP), VAST, Ha Noi, Viet Nam,
o International centre of physics (under the auspices of the UNESCO), Ha Noi, Viet Nam
and other organizations. It is the second workshop following the first one held in 2016.
For the last decades physics has undergone great developments shedding new light on our understanding of the Universe in both microscopic and macroscopic scales. One of the purposes of this workshop is to review these developments, present new results and perspectives of particle physics and gravitational science as well as their interfaces and technological impact. Another purpose is to promote the education and the research of these sciences and their applications in Viet Nam and other countries in the region.
All people interested in this workshop (in physics and/or technological aspects) are welcome toregister for participation. After having an account one can login and apply for giving a contributed talk (by going to "Submit abstract" in his/her own profile.).
Registration fee: The registration fee covers a banquet, five (5) lunches, coffee/tea breaks during the workshop and some services (see more details here).
Financial support: a limited fund for financial support is available. Everyone can apply forfinancial support (for local and/or travel expenses), however, the priority will be given to young people.
